Do you need rewiring services?

How long does it take?
This depends on whether it is a full or part rewiring job – after carefully reviewing the work involved, we will ensure to give you a close estimate of timings so we are both on the same page. A 3 or 4-bedroom house would usually take around 1 week, whereas smaller circuits can be expected to be completed within a couple of days.
What methods do we use?
Again, this depends on the age and structure of the property. Chasing the wires provides the best long-term solution for new-builds. This is where we run pipes or cables up the wall and ‘chase’ (bury) them into the wall’s surface, re-plastering over the top. If you aren’t considering a long-term option, e.g. renting a property, we can protect and hide the cables using PVC trunking or conduit, rather than chasing through the walls.
Alternatively, many buildings already have cables stored within a steel conduit inside the walls or roof – this is common for council/ex-council buildings. Here you can simply pull the new cables through this.
